Who We Are

Together With Us is a youth-powered 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2021. Our mission is to bridge the gap between human empathy and innovative problem-solving to serve those in need. What began as a local community initiative has evolved into a multi-sector organization that manages local outreach for underserved families, supports patient wellness in regional hospitals, and leads international fund drives. By combining hands-on compassion with strategic partnerships, we create measurable, lasting impact.

Strategic Institutional Partners

  • Akin [Formerly Children's Home Society of WA] - Empowering Underserved Families. Since inception (2021), we have maintained an active, hands-on partnership with Akin to support their network of 500+ underserved families. Through 2-3 annual signature events, our youth team takes direct ownership of fundraising and volunteer mobilization, providing essential resources and community support where it is needed most.
  • Overlake Hospital Foundation - Healing Through Connection. Our partnership with the Overlake Hospital Foundation focuses on patient-centered care and emotional wellness. We lead multiple holiday card drives and creative outreach projects each year, dedicated to bringing hope and a sense of community to patients during their most challenging times.
  • Sukarya & The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation - Global Educational Equity. As our primary international partner, Sukarya provides the platform for Together With Us to expand our impact globally. Focused on the "Education on Wheels" program in Delhi, India—and supported by the Gates Foundation as a knowledge partner—this collaboration brings mobile classrooms directly to marginalized youth.
  • Expression Arts - Innovation Through Creativity. Expression Arts serves as our creative incubator, providing the mentorship and platform for our youth team to showcase impact projects at major Youth Expos. Through this partnership, we bridge the gap between artistic expression and social advocacy.

Our Inspiration

The foundation of Together With Us is rooted in the values of compassion and service passed down by our parents. Growing up, we watched our mother, a PhD in public health, dedicate her career to improving lives in underserved communities, and our father mentor young people to help them achieve independence through education.

They didn't just tell us about the challenges others face—they showed us, bringing us along to community events and sharing stories of resilience from around the world. These experiences shaped our passion for giving back and gave us the courage to start this organization in 2021. Today, that inspiration has evolved into a formal partnership; we are honored to have our parents serving on our Board of Directors, providing the professional mentorship and technical expertise needed to ensure our mission continues to grow into a lasting global legacy.
